Dear Discover Sicily, We very much enjoyed our 7 days stay in Cala Pietra. We were met by Antonio warmly. He was patient to answer our questions and explain everything to us. The standard of the accommodation was really good, although perhaps a few extra sheets and towels could have been provided? Proper wine glasses would have been a nice touch too. The gardens were kept very well and tidy. The location was perfect, far enough away from town but easy to get there on foot. All in all we had an excellent stay and will be recommending it to to our friends. Grazie mille! Renato Straume Fogliani

Where to begin? What to say? You have a beautiful house and Pat and I feel very priviliged to spend our vacation here. Seven days went by way too fast but reality hits and back to CA we must go. This is definitely a vacation neither of us will ever forget.

Très bon séjour à la Cala Pietra fidèle à nos attentes. Période propice au calme et à la détente. Accueil très sympathique et ville de Céfalu à proximité très agréable. Seul petit bémol qui n'a en rien entaché notre séjour : un nettoyage des joints de douche et un changement des ampoules aurait été nécessaire.

We returned back from our holiday yesterday and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Cala Pietra in Cefalù. It was everything we could have hoped for and more and we will certainly be recommending it to our friends and family. We felt very much at home there and didn't want to leave! Dear all,
Cala Pietra was fine and much as expected. Antonio was excellent, helpful and flexible.
The house will probably get a few bits and pieces fixed after the season -- leaking sink, broken lamp, mirror, curtains, but nothing to worry about; no doubt Antonio will take care of it and it did not disturb us.
Overall it was fine.

Hi we very much enjoyed our time in Cefalu and in the most were happy with Cala Pietra. The location was a great base and a great place to spend our honeymoon. There were many positives to the location however the downstairs shower room and associated smell left alot to be desired and the firdge is in needs of replacing plus a few light bulbs are needed. These points aside the rustic charm of the property did win us over and would still recomend it to others. The beach was a fantastic addition to the property and we both enjoyed lazing away our afternoons there although the pathway could do with some renovations and cleaning up. Asscent and descent were not for the faint hearted. Sicily was and is a gem and would love to visit again.

We came for our honeymoon & it could not have been more perfect - a beautiful little villa set in a quiet spot that certainly exceeded our expectations! A wonderful place to stay -perfetto! Truly a real taste of Sicily and still very central for day trips.

Really enjoyed our stay. Stormy weather a couple of days – but wonderful skies & high waves. Enjoyed local beach, enjoyed swimming round to the next one – a pair of kingfishers sharing the beach with us. Not exactly honeymooners but enjoyed our 45th wedding anniversary while here.

Hi there, Just to say how much we loved our stay at Cala Pietra last week. The house is delightful and the little beach quite enchanting. We were so sad to come home! The house's location proved a perfect base for sightseeing around that area of the island. We thought Cefalu was stunning and the restaurants and shops just great. We of course climbed La Rocca (exhausting but exhilarating) and got the train into Palermo one day, which was far more civilized than driving! Okay, first thing first, we love Cefalù! The little streets, the ice cream bars, the cathedral square, beautiful! But if you do anything you have to go to Erice. This place is amazing, an incredible castle overlooking the whole of northwestern Sicily. A beautiful little town you can reach by cable car or drive up to. The views are amazing! La Rocca is a great restaurant there (and cheap). We were blown away by this place! We stopped in Segesta on the way and saw Greek theatre + temple (amazing). We went to Palermo, crazy driving although buildings were amazing. Check out Castelbuono, a beautiful shopping town in the middle of Madonie mountains. Enjoy + relax!
