We do not recommend this villa to families with young children because the edge around the pool area - located on the first floor -  is quite low and the height difference could be dangerous for kids who are left unattended. In the picture entitled "Overview of the house" it is possible to view the type of edge surrounding the swimming pool.
Pets are welcome.
The property figures on the volume "Progetti di giovani architetti italiani" that gathers together the best architecture projects realised by young Italian architects. The book was sponsored by numerous important press organizations such as Il Sole 24 Ore and the Faculties of Architecture in Italy.
The architect who designed the house is Elena Arcidiacono from Giardini Naxos.

You may request additional information or check availability of one or more properties by clicking the button marked AVAILABILITY and sending your request after completing the form with the required information. By sending the form you are under no obligation; you may even request a free option (generally for a period of 3 to 5 days) on the property/ies that you are interested in. Upon the agreed expiry date, you may either cancel the option or confirm your booking. If you decide to confirm a booking, you will be sent details of the bank to which payment of the initial deposit should be made. For this property the deposit is equal to 20% of the total rental amount, including any additional charges. When payment of the deposit has been received, you will be sent a formal BOOKING CONFIRMATION which will serve as your receipt for the deposit that has been paid. Approximately 70 days prior to the commencement of your stay, you will receive an email requesting payment of the remaining balance which, for this property, is equivalent to 80% of the total agreed rental amount. This payment is made directly to the owner of the property and for this reason it is possible that the two payments (initial 20% deposit and remaining 80% balance) are made to two different accounts. When payment of the final balance has been received, you will be sent a VOUCHER and all documents necessary for your stay. For LAST MINUTE reservations (made within 60 days of arrival), a single payment of the total agreed rental amount is required.

The rental agreement is concluded in the name and on behalf of the owner or person responsible for the property under the terms and conditions and at the prices indicated on the websites ‘discover-sicily.eu’ and ‘discover-sicily.co.uk’. Booking implies a knowledge and acceptance without restriction of the terms and conditions included in the contract. The prices published on the website are established with reference to relevant market conditions and in agreement with the owner or person responsible for the property. All prices include the services specifically described in the details of the property and are subdivided by season, as detailed on the website. Additional services, which are obligatory but not included in the published price, must be paid for in advance, if requested, or in some cases directly in cash in Euros upon arrival at the property. A security deposit is also payable in cash in Euros upon arrival.  The amount of the security deposit is indicated in the table of prices published on this page and varies from property to property. Arrival at the property must take place between 15:00 and 20:00 hours. For arrival outside these hours, it is necessary to agree the time of arrival in advance with Discover-sicily or directly with the owner. The property must be vacated before 09:00 hours on the agreed date of departure. The customer must complete and return the acceptance form at least 1 week prior to arrival (48 hours in the case of last minute reservations) which is necessary to make arrangements in advance the arrival. Failure to complete and return the acceptance form within the stipulated time may result in inconveniences for which Discover-sicily may in no way be held responsible. The following penalties apply in the event that a reservation for a villa or apartment is cancelled by a client, even if the said reservation is substituted by another booking: if cancellation is made more than 70 days prior to the commencement of the rental period, 100% of the deposit already paid; if cancellation is made in the period 70 days prior to the commencement of the rental period, the entire rental amount already paid.
