The wonderful location of this house will let you visit the Alcantara River Park and the impressive gorges in basalt rock of the river with its cold waters where it is an unforgettable experience to have a bath. The Park of the Alcantara river borders on the one of the Etna Volcano where, when active,you can admire the spectacular eruption of the craters reachable by foot or by a 4x4 jeep or minibus. Just a few kilometres away you can visit the famous tourist locality of Taormina with its sandy beaches the most famous of which is the one of Isolabella even if crowded in summer. Being able to seek, there are other beaches less full of people but similarly beautiful such as the one of Fiumefreddo, awarded with the “blue flag” by Legambiente (Italian Society for the Protection of Nature) 2010. The location of the house will also let you visit the near Park of the Nebrodi, the lively town of Catania and in only an hour also reach Siracusa with its innumerable treasures.
