Cefalù (PA)

Cefalù is an ideal starting point from which to tour the mid-west area of Sicily. After a forty minute drive on the highway you will reach Palermo where you can visit one of the most beautiful historic centres in the whole of Italy. In the opposite direction, along the highway towards Messina, within thirty minutes you will arrive at Santo Stefano di Camastra, a village renowned for its beautiful ceramics.
Cefalù stands at the foot of the Madonie National Park and within a few minutes you can reach its green mountain slopes and visit the many medieval towns that are located within the Park. We recommend a visit to the towns of Castelbuono, Polizzi Generosa, Petralia Soprana and Sottana and Collesano where there is a recently-established golf course "Le Madonie" surrounded by olive and lemon trees.
