An exclusive and charming hotel located in the hearth of Ortigia, in a unique and privileged position, as it rises on the seaside on the fascinating edge of a golden beach, next to the ancient port of the island adorned with precious marbles and columns. From the 12 rooms you can enjoy wonderful views of the sea and the historic town of Ortigia. The property also comprises 3 independent little houses with sea view, furnished using natural materials such as terracotta, whitewashed beams, local stone, and valuable fabrics and furnishings. A little jewel embedded in the blue sea of Siracusa.

For almost the whole year this exclusive, small and charming hotel offers a beach equipped with beach umbrellas, deck chairs, showers, facilities and a lounge bar with a reading and relaxation corner. There is an area dedicated to children where they can safely swim because of the low depth of the sea. At sunset the beach becomes more and more fascinating, as this is the best moment to enjoy unforgettable views and relax lulled by the sound of the sea, sipping a local aperitif. The hotel's interior design is moderate, elegant and sophisticated, furnished using natural materials, thanks to the skills of local craftsmen. There are 12 rooms, 3 Classic Little, 3 Classic, 2 Standard, 3 Superior and 1 Suite with terrace overlooking the sea. For those who love feeling at home also when on holidays, the hotel offers 3 independent houses that are located 50 metres away from the hotel and benefit from free access to the beach and its facilities.
 

The splendid location of the "Musciara Resort" will enable you to explore on foot the magnificent, compact historic centre of Ortigia and the Archeological Park of Syracuse. The most important cities of Sicilian baroque style can easily be reached by car: Noto, Ispica, Ragusa Ibla, Palazzolo Acreide and Modica. There are numerous beaches and nature reserves to visit in the area, from Vendicari to Irminio, all very spacious and with fine golden sand. We recommend in particular "Cala Mosche" inside the Vendicari Nature Reserve. Also worthy of a visit are the small lakes of Cassibile (it takes around one hour to walk down to the gorges) and the archeological nature reserve of Pantalica.

Upon request you can also have breakfast on the terrace, babysitting and transfer from and to Catania Airport.
For the houses you can also request a daily cleaning service and a bed linen change service.
The hotel can organise sailing excursions for 8 people on a 12-metre sail boat or for 4 people on a 7.2-meter sports boat to visit the entire south-eastern coast of Sicily.
