The property is located on the slopes of Mount Etna in a beautiful citrus grove covering an area of more than 30 hectares. Here the famous Sicilian Blood Oranges are cultivated and a range of jams and excellent extra virgin olive oil is produced. Here we are in the valley of the Simeto river in the province of Catania, two kilometres from the village of Paternò and only 20 kilometres from the Palermo-Catania motorway which provides easy access to numerous sites of archeological interest and some of the finest beaches on the island. A splendid 20 x 10 metre swimming pool and floodlit tennis court are located on the property.
The whole property is avaliable for rental on an exclusive basis for a maximum of 28+2 people.

The accommodation comprises 2 apartments on the first floor with private bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning, safe and minibar and 3 small, independent villas.
Apartment for 4 people: comprising bedroom with 2 single beds which can be made into a double bed, a living room with sofa bed for two people, kitchen, bathroom with Jacuzzi, terrace with panoramic views, satellite television set and air conditioning.
"Villa dei Mandarini" for 4 people: comprising a bedroom with double bed, kitchen and bathroom with shower. Opposite a further twin-bedded room and bathroom with shower. Air conditioning, television set.
"Villetta in Collina" for 4 people: comprising a large living room with marble fireplace and sofa bed for two people, bedroom with king-size bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower, bathroom with Jacuzzi, air conditioning and two television sets.
"Villa Rossella" for 4 people: comprising a large living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with Jacuzzi, twin-bedded room and bathroom with shower.

The great advantage of this property is its location only 28 kilometres from Catania airport in a part of the island which contains many places of interest. For golf lovers there's the nearby "Picciolo" golf course at Castiglione di Sicilia (which also has a splendid historic centre), however, the principal attraction in the area is the Etna nature reserve and the opportunity to scale the volcano (guided tours in well-equipped Jeeps are available) to witness the spectacular eruptions. Alternatively immerge yourselves in the refreshing waters of the Alcantara gorges if you still have time after visiting the unmissable sights of Taormina and Caltagirone where you will find the finest Sicilian ceramics.

The whole property may be rented on an exclusive basis for a minimum of 1 week for a total of 28+2 people and in this case the services of a cook are available for an additional charge of Euros 150.00 per day (excluding food).
The owner lives and works on site. Small domestic pets are accepted.

Free use of the floodlit tennis court (booking required), table tennis table and barbecue. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are not available.
