Cambiocavallo Resort is a charming hotel located in the area of Baroque in the valley of Noto a few kilometres away from the beach at Pozzallo (winner of a Blue Flag award for cleanliness from the Legambiente) and its crystal-clear sea. Historically this was a staging inn used as a place of rest by weary travellers in times gone by. Careful and dedicated restoration inspired by the principles of organic architecture have brought into evidence some of the building's most carachteristic features: stone walls, reed coverings on the ceilings, plasterwork in warm, vibrant colours contrasted with modern and minimalist design which provides the structure with a feeling of elegance and all the modern amenities required and appreciated by the demanding travellers of today.

On the ground floor of the main building there is a large and elegant living room cum library with leather sofas and an LCD satellite television. From the living room there is access to the room where breakfast is served. On the first floor there are two elegant and welcoming suites with reed-covered ceilings typical of the area, chestnut beams and walls made of white stone from Modica. The two suites are charmingly furnished and are equipped with all modern amenities: air conditioning, LCD satellite television, telephone, internet connection and a bathtub with water jets. The suites can accommodate up to 4 people - in the entrance hall there is a sofa bed for two people. The other 6 rooms with external access from the typical farmhouse each have a terrace facing onto the garden. Two of these rooms are Junior rooms with a double bed, bathroom with bathtub, air conditioning, LCD satellite television, telephone and internet connection. The other 4 are Superior rooms with double bed, bathroom with shower and all with the possibility of adding a third bed.

The southeast part of the island where the hotel is located has the highest concentration of UNESCO heritage sites in the world. Here the splendid masterpieces of Sicilian Baroque are located in the valley of Noto. Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Ispica, Noto and Scicli are all located within a few kilometres of the Resort but there are other wonderful natural and cultural sites to visit such as the locations for the Italian television series "Commissario Montalbano" written by the Sicilian writer Andrea Camilleri, the beautiful wide-open beaches in the area such as Pozzallo (granted a Blue Flag award for cleanliness by the Legambiente in 2009), the Vendicari nature reserve, the lakes of Cavagrande, Caltagirone, Siracusa and Ortigia, the caves of Ispica and the necropolis of Pantalica. All of these destinations are easily accessible by car on half-day trips.

Prices for long weekends that include public holidays (All Saints, 8th December, Eurochocolate, Easter, 1st May and 25th April) are calculated according to the highest summer tariff. An additional 3rd and 4th bed costs Euros 25-30-35-45 according to the season. The camp bed for children up to 3 years old costs Euros 15-20 according to the season.

Numeorus possibilities exist to experience and explore the local area on special tours which include visits to the sites featured in the Italian television series "Commissario Montalbano", a gastronomic wine tour with visits to local vineyards and wineries producing wine from the Nero d'Avola variety, a visit to Modica with a tasting session of its famous chocolate, a visit to the famous fish market at Portopalo (home port of the second most important fishing fleet in Sicily) and a visit to the flower market at Scicli.
