A unique example of middle-European architecture in the north east of Sicily, this marvellous summer residence has recently been completely refurbished by the current owners (grandchildren of the original owner) and restored to its former glory. The villa maintains all of its original charm and affords a slice of the old Sicilian lifestyle to all who stay there. Incredibly this masterpiece is located only eighty metres from the beach and in the centre of the town of Capo d’Orlando which is a popular holiday destination for local Sicilians during the summer months. This villa is ideal for a family beach holiday as there are other spacious sand and pebble beaches in the near vicinity and generally the sea here is clean and clear.

The property is situated in the centre of the town and is surrounded by a large and luxuriant garden through which there is access to the northern entrance of the house. Accommodation is located on two floors. After passing through the entrance hall on the ground floor, on the left there is a spacious and light living room which opens onto a terrace and on the right there is a beautiful kitchen with great attention to detail and a sumptuous dining room with windows overlooking the garden. Also on ground floor there is a bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are two bedrooms each with a double bed and one with an en suite bathroom, a bedroom with twin beds, a bedroom with a single bed and a bathroom with shower. Access to the tower with its terrace and beautiful sea view is gained from this floor via a spiral staircase. All 4 bathrooms have a shower.

This is an ideal location in which to spend an enjoyable seaside holiday. Capo d'Orlando is famous for its beaches and clean sea (not for the town's architecture) and is an ideal base from which to visit the nature reserve of the Nebrodi mountains, covered in dense vegetation and as yet almost totally unspoilt. This is also an ideal location from which to visit the whole north eastern part of Sicily which includes Taormina and its Greek theatre, the nature reserve surrounding the volcano Etna and the archeological park at Siracusa and Ortigia. We also recommend a visit to the seaside resort of Cefalù (40 minutes by car), although in the summer it can become quite crowded.

For parties composed of more than 5 people a compulsory additional charge of Euros 60 per week is applied to cover midweek cleaning of 3 hours per day on Tuesday and Thursday, payable in cash upon arrival. The heating system functions from 1st November to 31st March and is regulated by a thermostat. The cost will be charged separately and is payable in cash according to the amount of consumption during your stay. The cost of fast internet connection is Euros 2.00 per hour. Cooking and daily cleaning services are available upon request and must be booked in advance.
