The house is situated in the most enchanting area of Cefalù, just outside the town, which is also considered to be one of the most fascinating places in Sicily. A splendid, panoramic sea view magically appears before your eyes when you enter the charming and well-cared-for garden which surrounds the property. The property overlooks the “Faraglioni” (outer rocks) of Cefalù and is situated above a private beach that can be reached through a small gate. On the other side of the house a short stairway leads to the rocky shore which is surrounded by a beautiful cobalt-blue sea. Access to the beach is reserved only to owners of the surrounding villas and even in the height of summer it is often deserted.
A modern and luxurious villa, tastefully furnished with antique pieces of furniture and furnishings. The owners have taken care of every minor detail to create a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. On one side of the house there is a large patio surrounded by luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation. Here you can dine by candle light listening to the sound of the sea; on the other side is a splendid garden with a lawn overlooking the beach from where you can have a magnificent view of the sea and the rocks below. Inside, on the ground floor, there is a sitting room with a large picture window looking onto the sea, a dining room, a small living room with a fireplace and the kitchen. On the first floor there are four bedrooms (two twin bedrooms and two double bedrooms), 3 of which have a sea view, 3 bathrooms (2 with shower and 1 with bath) and a small study with a fireplace.
Cefalù is an ideal base from which to visit the mid-western area of Sicily. Along the highway that leads to Palermo in forty minutes by car you will pass the fishing villages of Porticello, Sant’Elia, Santa Flavia, the ruins of the Greek town of Solunto and Bagheria with its architectural masterpieces. In the direction of Messina, after a drive of approximately ten minutes you will reach Pollina where there is a Club Med and after a further forty minutes you arrive at Santo Stefano di Camastra, a small town renowned for its beautiful ceramics. Cefalù is also very close to the Madonie Nature Reserve. In a few minutes you are able to reach the natural beauty of the reserve and visit its numerous old medieval towns.
Small pets allowed. Immediate necessities such as water, soap and toilet paper are provided upon arrival.
