This delightful villa is located in an exclusive residential area of Cefalu which faces onto the famous Faraglioni rocks. The house is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and is only a short distance away from a beautiful private beach whose access is restricted to the small number of villas that surround it. The villa is located in a private cul-de-sac and the area remains peaceful even during the height of the summer season.

Numerous quiet and peaceful spots in which to relax and unwind can be found in the large Mediterranean garden which covers an area of approximately 2,000 square metres. The garden includes a barbecue area, a patio and a dining table and chairs which can accommodate eight people. The house is simply but elegantly furnished. The ground floor comprises a living room with a double sofa bed and fireplace, a spacious kitchen with dining table, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. From the bedroom, via a spiral staircase, you gain access to the mezzanine floor where there is a double bedroom with a terrace from which there is a glimpse of the sea semi-hidden behind the olive trees. Outside there is an area near to the kitchen where the washing machine and a shower are located. The bedroom on the mezzanine floor and the living-room downstairs are provided with air-conditioners, which are able to refresh also the kitchen and the second bedroom.

Cefalù is undoubtedly the most important and elegant seaside resort in western Sicily. It is frequented in summer by both Italian and foreign tourists and offers a wide variety of shops, bars, pizzerias and restaurants. The beautiful old square in the centre of the town offers wonderful views of the historic cathedral and traditional wooden fishing boats can still be found on the beach nearby. Cefalu is an ideal base from which to explore the Madonie National Park with its fascinating medieval towns and villages which still offer a glimpse of the "real" Sicily. In particular we recommend visits to Castelbuono, Gratteri and Polizzi Generosa where numerous very good trattorias offering traditional local produce can be found.

The two bedrooms and the living room/kitchen are equipped with air conditioning units which provide heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. The fixtures and fittings in the house are all new.
